CALLOWAY RELEASES REBOOT VERSION OF HIT "FREAK-A ZOID"
When Reggie Calloway produced "Freak-A-Zoid" for his band, Midnight Star, in 1983, he didn’t know that the group's first hit would become an iconic single that pioneered a new subgenre of R&B music. He concocted space-age electronic beats, a funky techno groove, and synthesized robotic vocals, seeding Techno-Funk and rocketing Midnight Star to the top of the charts.
