The Broadway Sacramento Conservatory is the region's only musical theater program of its kind that's taught by nationally recognized industry professionals.

The new year brings exciting workshops and programs for youth and adults. Here is a list of what's in store for all aspiring artists.

Broadway Sacramento Conservatory/Youth Programs
FEB. 28 THROUGH APRIL 18/ 11:00 AM-12:30 p.m.
Youth Musical Theatre Workshop--Age Range: 9-12
The Youth Musical Theatre Workshop is an eight-week Saturday morning class in which aspiring artists develop self-confidence, character and collaborative skills through the exploration of the Musical Theatre artform. Led by professional teaching artists, students are immersed in a singing, acting, and dancing creative process through the rehearsal and presentation of a musical number from a Broadway show. Theatre games, improvisational activities, and role-playing add energy and fun to the experience.

SPRING SESSION:
FEB. 23 THROUGH APRIL 24/4:30-7:30 p.m.
Age Range: 12-18. Our Spring Session includes 63 hours of instruction in Acting the Song, Dance, and Production Number classes/rehearsals, culminating in a showcase, performed at the iconic UC Davis Health Pavilion – Home of Broadway At Music Circus.

Broadway Sacramento Conservatory/Adult Classes:
WINTER/SPRING/ SUMMER/FALL
Age Range: 18 and Up. Musical Theatre Dance. Refine dance skills and celebrate musical theatre storytelling through diverse choreography from the Broadway canon. Mondays and Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Winter: JAN. 5 through MAR 25
Spring: APRIL 30 through MAY 27
Summer: AUG. 3 through 26

ACTING THE SONG:
Receive individualized coaching to strengthen your character specificity and vocal technique. Accompanist provided.
