T.G. SHEPPARD CELEBRATES 45TH ANNIVERSARY OF HIT RECORD 3/4 LONELY
Country music legend T.G. Sheppard celebrates the 45th Anniversary of his hit album 3/4 Lonely, which generated hits including "You Feel Good All Over," "Last Cheaters Waltz," and "I’ll Be Coming Back For More."
Reaching No. 4, 3/4 Lonely was produced by Buddy Killen on Warner Brothers Records and included songs written by Sonny Throckmorton, Curly Putman, Don Cook, Bobby Braddock, Van Hoy, Red Lane, Deborah Allen, and more.
Remaining one of his most listened-to albums, 3/4 Lonely continued to set the pace for Sheppard's illustrious career, which has scored 22 No. 1 hits in total and continues to take him to stages coast to coast, including the world-famous Grand Ole Opry, where he recently surprised fans with special guest Kid Rock on his hit "Party Time."
"It still amazes me that it's been 45 years since the release of 3/4 Lonely and that fans still enjoy singing along to the hits from the album at my concerts," shares Sheppard. This was a big album in my career, and I love it when fans bring them to shows. It means a lot! It was also a wonderful evening recently when I had the honor of having Kid Rock join me on stage at the Grand Ole Opry to sing with me on my hit song "Party Time. "The crowd went wild!"
In addition to that celebration Sheppard and acclaimed singer-songwriter and author Kelly Lang recently released their new single "Addicted to You" from their upcoming duets album, Chemistry: The Duets Collection!
Married for nearly twenty years, Sheppard and Lang's relationship gives hope and inspiration to anyone watching from the sidelines. Written by Kelly Lang, "Addicted to You" tells the story of a couple facing addiction… to each other. In the song, they sing about different things people struggle with, but for this couple, the "substances" have never been an issue; however, they have no problem admitting their addiction to each other.
