ELLE KING’S “SHAKE THE SPIRIT” AVAILABLE OCT. 19

Three-time Grammy-nominated and platinum-selling recording artist Elle King once again triumphantly topped the Triple A Radio chart at No.1 with “Shame,” the first single from her second studio album “Shake the Spirit” (RCA) which is available on Oct. 19.

“Shame” follows “Ex’s & Oh’s” as King’s second single to reign at the top of the Triple A Chart.

Since its release in August, “Shame” was the No. 1 most added song at Triple A. It also debuted on the Top 10 on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist and Top 10 on iTunes Alternative Songs chart.

King co-wrote “Shame” with Tim Pagnotta who produced the single. King, recently debuted the track with an electrifying performance on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” She’ll also kick off her fall tour Oct. 24.

Here’s what the press is saying about Elle King and her new CD, “Shake the Spirit.”

PRAISE FOR “SHAME”

“The song, a shuttering, shimmying blast of pop …a brazen invitation to give in to temptation…she sings in a near growl.” – Rolling Stone

“… mix(es) a bluesy tendency with her soulful tones, full of attitude and a catchy pop sensibility underlying its hard edges…give(s) her voice an extra raspy quality, making her sound distinctively her own.”- Time Magazine

“…the soulful Elle King captured hearts across the world with her sassy, lovelorn ...‘Ex’s & Oh’s’… ‘Shame’ (is) a brassy tune about bad-girl antics…unstoppable series of hooks, as if daring us to feel shame for loving a song this wickedly good.” –Paper

“If you thought the Black Keys had cornered the market on blues-based stompers, she's here to change your mind.” – Refinery 29
