I don?t know about you, but I can?t wait for the second season of ?American Soul? which airs on BET May 27 at 10 pm (ET/PT).

The music drama chronicles the life of the late ?Soul Train? TV show host Don Cornelius who is played to near perfection by Sinqua Walls, (?The 15:17 to Paris?).

Last season?s ?American Soul? was such a huge hit and fans were blown away by the music, the actors, and the nostalgic vibe of the whole series.

In addition to Walls as Cornelius, other returning stars on the eight-episode mini-series include: Kelly Price (as Brianne Clarke), Jason Dirden (Gerald Aims), Iantha Richardson (Tessa Lauren), Katlyn Nichol (Simon Clarke) and Christopher Jefferson (Julius ?JT? Tucker).

But it?s this season?s guest stars on ?American Soul? that has so many ?Soul Train? fanatics counting down the days until May 27. Look at the celebrities that will be part of the ?hippest trip in America.?

Big Boi is going to funk things up as the one and only George Clinton of Parliament-Funkadelic. Now that should be spectacular.

London Brown will transform into Bootsy Collins, who was a member of Parliament-Funkadelic. Yung Joc will play Gary Shider, the guitarist in Parliament known for wearing an adult diaper during performances.

Ledisi gets in touch with her inner Patti LaBelle. That should be amazing.

Excellent choice for Demetria McKinney to play June Pointer of the Pointer Sisters too.

Melanie Fiona as Chaka Khan, the dynamo lead singer of Rufus who had a string of hits such as ?Sweet Thing,? ?Once You Get Started,? ?Do You Love What You Feel? and ?Dance Wit Me.?

Darius McCrary will get on the good foot as the Godfather of Soul, James Brown.

Comedian Tone Bell who starred in the movie ?Little? will play legendary comedian Richard Pryor.

Alex Ball stars as Dick Clark, the host of ?American Bandstand.?

D.C. Young Fly will tackle Sly Stone from Sly and the Family Stone. Other guests include: Christopher B. Duncan, (TV?s ?Black Lightning?), Kearran Giovanni (TV?s ?The Resident?) and Hudson Thames (TV?s ?I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson?) as Elton John who wants Don Cornelius to let him appear on ?Soul Train.?
