I know fans of the hit TV show "All-American" will be glued to the screen when the outstanding football drama returns for its mid-season premiere on the CW Network Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). You can also stream the show on Fubo TV.

"All-American" will no doubt be just as riveting as ever and filled with plenty of drama surrounding the high school football phenom Spencer James (Daniel Ezra) and his beautiful, yet slightly broken love interest Olivia Baker (Samantha Logan).

Has music producer Layla (Greta Onieogou) thrown in the towel for good with Tamia "Coop" Cooper (Bre-Z)? It appears Layla is ready to move on and may have found something special with a rising star named Sabine (Singer/Songwriter JoJo) who wants Layla to collaborate with her on her upcoming album. How will this affect the relationship between "Coop" and her girlfriend Patience (Chelsea Tavares)?

Oh, and what about Olivia's brother Jordan (Michael Evans Behling)? He has a lot to sort out now that his girl Simone Hicks (Geffri Maya) is headed to the fictional HBCU Bringston University on a tennis scholarship. Simone has caught the eye of the campus, hotshot baseball player, Damon Sims (Peyton Alex Smith). It's possible sparks could fly between them if Damon brings more game than Jordan. Long distance relationships can be brutal.

There's more about that storyline on the new show, "All American: Homecoming" which also premieres Feb. 21 at 9 p.m. (ET/PT ) on The CW.

I have loved the direction that "All-American" has taken from day one. I can't say enough about the show's creator, April Blair as well as its long list of writers/producers, most notably Nkechi Okoro Carroll.
Then there is the amazing cast of Cody Christian, Karimah Westbrook, Monet Mazur,Jalyn Hall, Hunter Clowdus, Spence Moore II, Kareem J. Grimes, Da'Vinchi and of course the exceptionally talented Taye Diggs.

Be sure to tune in to "All-American" Feb. 21 at 8 p.m. followed by "All-American: Homecoming" at 9 p.m. (ET/PT).
