IT'S BACK: "ALL-AMERICAN" RETURNS TO THE CW NETWORK ON JAN. 18.

The wait is almost over. The explosive, hit drama "All-American" returns for its third season Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on the CW Network.

"All-American" premiered on the CW network in 2018. The series is based on the true story of former pro football player Spencer Paysinger who signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent and was part of their winning Super Bowl XLVI team.

In December, N2Entertainment.net attended a special Virtual Industry Event to chat with some of the actresses/producers of Warner Bros. television shows which included Nkechi Okoro Carroll (pictured) a co-executive producer of "All-American." I asked Carroll if she could give fans an inkling of what this season has in store and she jokingingly said she made everyone on the show take an oath that they wouldn't reveal any plot points to anyone.

So, we will all have to hold on just a bit longer to find out the fate of Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), coach Billy Baker (Taye Diggs), Jordan Baker (Michael Evans Behling), Bre-Z (Tamia "Coop" Cooper), Asher Adams (Cody Christian), Olivia Baker (Samantha Logan) and Dillon James (Jalyn Hall).

There's a lot of drama about to unfold this time around. You may recall at the end of the second season, Spencer (Ezra) decided to return to South Crenshaw High School for his senior year with coach Baker (Diggs). They are determined to bring a Championship to the embattled school. The Beverly Hills High School and Crenshaw rivalry is about to get really personal too. There are still several questions surrounding Spencer's injury and if he's even healthy enough to play.

"All-American" is from Warner Bros. Television and CBS Television Studios in association with Berlanti Productions, with executive producers Greg Berlanti ("Arrow," "The Flash," "Riverdale"), Nkechi Okoro Carroll ("Rosewood," "The Resident"), Sarah Schechter ("Arrow," "The Flash," "Riverdale") and John A. Norris ("Deception").

Don't miss "All-American" which airs Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on the CW Network.
