Diego Luna ("Rogue One: A Star Wars Story") executive produces and reprises his role as Cassian Andor in Disney+'s sci-fi adventure prequel, "Andor" which premieres with three episodes Sept. 21 on Disney+. The additional nine shows for Season One will air every Wednesday through November. 23.

"Andor," from Creator Tony Gilroy ("The Bourne Legacy"), is dark, gritty, and intriguing series. It centers on hero and rebel Cassian Andor during his early life and his rise to prominence in the Rebellion.

We first see him trying to find his missing sister, but Cassian comes up empty with information and is even attacked by two men. He kills them both, although one by accident. He then escapes and heads home to the mining planet, Ferrix.

Cassian has a precious commodity that could make him a wealthy man. That's if his friend Brix (Adria Arjona, "Morbius") can hook him up with a potential buyer (Stellen Skarsgard, "Thor: Love and Thunder").

Now, the Imperial security leader and power-hungry Syril Karn (Kyle Soller, TV's "Brexit"), wants Cassian. Syril is determined to rule the galaxy.

Less is more in "Andor." The first three episodes are slow moving, but effectively and stylishly lay the groundwork for what builds to an exciting and captivating story.

"Andor" is a mature, well-structured series that arguably equals/rivals Disney's "Obi-Wan Kenobi" "The Book of Boba Fett," and the "Mandalorian" series. The show also benefits from a solid cast, that in addition to Skarsgard, Arjona and Soller, includes Genevieve O'Reilly, Forest Whitaker, Denise Gough, and "Killing Eve's" Fiona Shaw.

While there are more questions than answers in the initial series, my curiosity is piqued. I am eager to see just what Gilroy and crew will bring to the next chapters of this fantastic series.

UnchainedTV,the transformative new streaming platform, announced that it will carry the very first streaming of Vkind Studios' trailblazing new, all-vegan cooking competition show "Peeled." The streaming debut will take place concurrently with the premiere screening at the Directors Guild of America (DGA) on Sept. 24.

UnchainedTV will also stream highlights from the star-studded, Red Carpet Premiere event, including step and repeat fanfare and vegan samplings prepared by "Peeled" chef contestants and a post-screening Q&A with show producers.

"We are excited to make history as the first platform streaming Peeled," said Jane Velez-Mitchell, Founder/CEO of UnchainedTV. "The show advances interest in compassionate, healthy, low-carbon-footprint lifestyle choices, which our audiences will appreciate."

The debut streaming will feature all three episodes of the initial limited series, which producers anticipate are the first of many. Four talented vegan chefs cook to raise money for worthy causes while competing to impress four discerning celebrity judges without being "Peeled" to the compost. In the end, only one will be named "Hottest Vegan Chef" and win a chance to have their winning dessert featured by the international vegan restaurant chain, The Copper Branch. Leading the panel of celebrity judges is Chef Josie Clemens, whose experience being the first vegan chef to compete in the hit series "Hell's Kitchen" influenced her decision to co-create the show. Other judges include: Chef Chris "Southern Baker with a Twist" Tucker, Sophie's Kitchen founder Dr. Miles Woodruff and Plant-based Business Hour host Elysabeth Alfano. Two vivacious hosts, celebrity chef Babette Davis and Dr. Shabnam Islam, guide contestants throughout the competition.

Created by vegan advocate and Vkind founder Star Simmons, "Peeled" was conceived to meet the demand for cooking shows that feature innovative, Michelin-worthy, plant-based cuisine. The show is the first of its kind to embody vegan principles both on screen and behind the scenes, with an all-vegan cast, producers and creative team.

"Sophisticated culinary arts can also be compassionate and climate-friendly," says Velez-Mitchell, adding, "I started UnchainedTV to reach the many millions of people out there who are desperately looking for ways to be part of the solution to save the planet. "Peeled" is precisely the kind of smart entertainment they want."

"Peeled" Red Carpet Premiere begins at 4 p.m. on Sept. 24 at the Director's Guild of America in Los Angeles, CA at 7920 Sunset Blvd.
