N2Entertainment.net author Lana K. Wilson-Combs has more than 20 years experience as a journalist. She began her career in journalism while a student at Merritt College in Oakland, Calif. In addition to writing sports and news for her college newspaper, Lana landed her first job as an free-lance assistant sports writer at the Oakland Post Newspaper. While there she wrote feature articles on the Oakland A's and Golden State Warriors as well as other Bay Area collegiate sports.

Lana also attended San Francisco State University and graduated with a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Radio/Television. After that, she worked three years as an entertainment writer and columnist for the Sacramento Union newspaper.

Lana is a native of San Bernardino, Calif. When she isn't writing about movies, the theater or music, she enjoys cheering on the Los Angeles Lakers and kicking back to watch blaxploitation movies with her husband, Rick and their dogs, Roc and Caesar.
